Meet The Team

Emma Ferry
Founder and Director

Emma Ferry

Emma launched Bluestone HR in 2020. Prior to this Emma’s HR career including working for large organisations such as Oxford University and the NHS, as well as smaller businesses in sectors including education, healthcare, marketing and retail.

Emma holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management and is CIPD qualified. Her consultancy experience has seen her support a large range of clients in the charity sector and small businesses across sectors such as accountancy, education, consultancy and engineering. She has supported her clients with a full range of HR support from day-to-day issues, recruitment, policy and procedural documentation and organisational change and redundancy consultations.

Lisa Porter
HR Consultant

Lisa Porter

Lisa joined Bluestone HR in January 2023 and brings a wealth of HR experience from health and social care charities at HR Director level. She has also worked as a Recruitment Consultant and as an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead in the Higher Education sector. CIPD qualified, Lisa is a HR generalist with experience in recruitment, employee relations, change management and HR strategy.

Nikki Gowers
HR Advisor

Nikki Gowers

Nikki joined Bluestone HR in April 2025 and brings with her a broad HR background gained across varied sectors, including professional services, manufacturing, and the legal profession. Her experience ranges from HR Administrative roles, right through to HR Management. Nikki is a CIPD qualified HR professional and is confident in providing a full range of HR support, including general day-to-day issues, recruitment, employee relations, policies and procedures, change management and employee engagement initiatives. Nikki has a particular passion for employee wellbeing and enhancing employee experience.

Hayley White
HR Administrator

Hayley White

Working with Bluestone HR since 2021, Hayley has a background in HR within public sector, retail and hospitality and has HR experience ranging from HR administrative roles to HR Management. CIPD qualified, Hayley is well versed in both HR Operations and Recruitment. She is our expert in systems and processes so is likely to be the one who will help you with Breathe HR.


Andrea Rae
Reward Consultant

Andrea Rae

Andrea is a Reward Consultant, who works with clients to design and implement effective Reward and Benefits solutions, which enable them to attract, retain and engage talented employees. A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, Andrea supports our clients in areas such as reward strategy, pay structures, incentive plans, recognition programs and benefits design.

We also work with a range of specialist associates who are experienced and skilled in specific sectors or areas of work so that we can always find a suitable consultant for your organisation.
